Associated Student Body update

  • ASB Election 
    • Candidate Speeches will be released Monday, March 22 during Advisement for students to watch
    • Voting opens 2pm on Monday, March 22 to 10 am on Friday, March 26. 
      • Voting will be through a canvas quiz, and students will select their favorite candidates for Commissioner of Spirit, Commissioner of Assemblies, Commissioner of Activities, vice president and president
  • Class president election will be held on April 12 to 16 
    • Class President Packet due March 22

  • Senior Photo Wall
    • To honor the class of 2021, ASB and the senior class council decided to create a photo wall for the seniors.

Irvine Unified School District extends no cost COVID-19 testing 

  • As part of the Irvine Unified School District’s effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the district has partnered up with LivingFit Nation Corporate Wellness, providing free COVID-19 testing for students and IUSD employees. 
  • Additional dates are now available: 
    • March 22 University High School 7am- 4pm
    • April 5 at Portola High School (1001 Cadence, Irvine) 7 a.m.- 4 p.m. 
    • April 19 at University High School (4771 Campus Drive, Irvine) 7 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Class of 2021 graduation

  • Aligned with state and local guidelines for gatherings, Irvine High will host a minimum of two physically distanced ceremonies, on or near the originally scheduled date of June 3rd (facilities permitting). 
  • Each graduate will be allowed two attendees and each ceremony will be livestreamed for those family members viewing from home
  • Additional Information are scheduled to be released by the first week of April.
