Baseball holds a league record of 7-7. Their last league game will be May 21, and with a possibility of competing at CIF. Throughout the season, players had to wipe off baseballs after being in use, in addition to other regulatory procedures. “One of our biggest goals would be to make playoffs, which CIF recently announced would be happening,” head coach Gabriel Cota said. “We are extremely grateful to be playing baseball at this point.”

With the opportunity to compete during the pandemic, the team has been practicing diligently. “It has been a tough year with all the setbacks but that hasn’t stopped us from having the same mindset we have had since freshman year. COVID-19 has only made baseball more meaningful to all of us,” senior Chandler Hazlett said. “Coming to the end of our season, the biggest thing I can reflect on is the main idea we all follow, that we want to leave the jersey behind better than you found it. Baseball has been fun, but the people I met and the accomplishments we have achieved together is probably the best memory I will have from high school.”
