  • Senior Celebration: “Let’s Have Some Fun!” 
    • Ticket Sales end tonight (May 3). $80 per ticket. Click here to purchase. Make sure to complete the permission slip here as well.
    • Event is May 15th from 7-10 pm at AV Irvine with a semi formal dress code, and requirement for social distancing and masks.

  • Graduation
    • Will be held on 6/3 at the IHS football stadium. Rehearsals will be held on 6/2. 
    • Seniors will graduate in 2 cohorts based on TA to maintain social distancing guidelines. Cohort A will graduate at 9 a.m., while Cohort B will be graduating at 12 p.m. 
    • Attendees are limited to 2 per student, but event will be livestreamed online. 
    • To graduate, seniors must be in good academic and attendance, and have returned all borrowed textbooks/other school materials. 
  • Heritage Awards & Spur awards
    • Students will receive their awards during a ceremony on 6/2. 
  • Cap & Gown & Tassel Pick-up
    • Seniors will pick-up their cap and gown on 6/1
  • Senior Finals
    • Senior finals will run 5/24-5/28. Make-up exams will be held 6/1-6/4.


  • Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors will be able to view their course requests, meet with counselors and request changes between May 3 and May 14.

  • Summer school will begin on June 21 to July 30, with no school on July 2 and July 5
  • The Learning Recovery Academy will be in-person at Woodbridge High School.
  • The Acceleration and Enrichment Academy will be virtual through San Joaquin High.

  • Vaqueros celebrated Arts Week from April 13th to April 16th, highlighting everything from visual arts to performing arts.  
  • Throughout the week, dance and choir had lunchtime performances, artwork was showcased in the Unified Arts Building, pins were passed out, and work was shared from nearly all art departments via Instagram posts. Check it out at
