Lack of sufficient financial education

The only electives pertaining to personal financial responsibility are Adult Living and Business Finance, both of which are optional. It is entirely possible, therefore, to graduate high school only vaguely knowing about the wider economy thanks to Political Economy, and it may well be the common route considering that other electives like Dance or Psychology are largely seen as more interesting or providing more tangible benefits. Seniors should either have Adult Living as a required course or a reworked Business Finance that focuses less on the math portion.
